Key Roles
I am so excited to be the principal of such a wonderful school. Students and Staff at C.P. Blakely School are the best! We are so lucky to be supported by such a generous and caring community of parents and families. I have been part of the C.P. Blakely School community for the past 8 years as Principal. I enjoy any opportunity to share learning and reading activities with our students. I also enjoy getting outside and having fun with the students during phys.ed classes and recess.
Before coming to CP Blakely I spent 17 years teaching and in administration in La Loche-SK, Birch Hills-SK, Delburne-AB and Benalto-AB. I also spent one year working as a Special Education Coordinator for Chinook's Edge School Division. I have taught all subjects from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
I live in Sylvan Lake with my husband Kevin. We enjoy being outside camping, golfing and boating. We also enjoy spending time with our two adult sons.
I am looking forward to another great year at C.P. Blakely School connecting with students, staff and families!!
